Foreign exchange (FX) trading for the U.S. dollar versus the Korean won is growing. To provide risk management tools for this currency and to broaden the range of opportunities available in its FX marketplace, CME has developed CME Korean Won futures and options. The United States is South Korea's second largest trading partner behind China for combined imports and exports, with total trading estimated to be more than $81.7 billion in 2005.
